Call for Panels and Workshops PDF Print E-mail
Dear Colleague,

You are invited to submit a business, government, or academic panel or workshop proposal to “eCollaboration: Overcoming Boundaries Through Multi-Channel Interaction”, the 21st Bled eConference (Sunday-Wednesday, June 15-18, 2008, http://www.BledConference.org). For the suggested topics, please see a Call for Participation (attached).

Panels are expected to explore innovative ways of exploiting the latest eTechnologies and development approaches, and to suggest new research agendas. Workshops are expected to demonstrate successful use (via prototypes, Living Labs, etc.) of the latest eTechnologies showing innovative opportunities, and to lay out the directions for further research. Duration of all conference’s program components is 90 minutes.

A special goal of the panels and workshops sessions is to provide a big picture of the “e” domain and service sciences by highlighting current issues and expected future impacts of eTechnologies in regional, or global economies. Sessions discussing innovative eCollaboration leading to new eSolutions and eServices are desired. Demonstrations of successful collaboration between business, government, and academia in cross-border, cross-industry, and/or cross-disciplinary environments are particularly welcome.

Panelists and workshop participants are expected to register for the conference.

The panel or workshop proposal (1 page) should indicate panel title, panel chair and the panelists (name, position, affiliation, country, e-mail address, web site address), the topic and issues to be discussed.

Please e-mail your panel or workshop proposal as soon as possible and not later than Monday, March 3, 2008 to the Bled eConference chair ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ). The Panel & Workshop Selection Advisory Board will review the proposals. Notification of acceptance is March 31, 2008. Panel or workshop outline (2 pages) will be published in the Conference Proceedings.

Your proposal is welcome!
