Dear Colleague,
You are invited to submit a business, government, or academic panel or workshop proposal to “eMergence: Merging and Emerging Technologies, Processes, and Institutions”, the 20th Bled eConference, June 4-6, 2007, http://www.BledConference.org. Panels are expected to explore innovative ways of exploiting the latest eTechnologies and development approaches and to suggest new research agendas. Workshops are expected to demonstrate successful use (via prototypes, Living Labs, etc.) of the latest eTechnologies and to lay out the directions for further research.
A special goal of the panels and workshops sessions is to provide a big picture of the “e” domain by highlighting current issues and expected future impacts of eTechnologies in regional or global economies. Sessions demonstrating successful, innovative eCollaboration to develop eSolutions among business, government, and academia in cross-border, cross-industry, and/or cross-disciplinary environments are particularly welcome.
Panelists and workshop participants are expected to register for the conference.
The panel or workshop proposal (1 page) should indicate panel title, panel chair and the panelists (name, position, affiliation, country, e-mail address), the topic and issues to be discussed.
Please e-mail your panel or workshop proposal as soon as possible and not later than Monday, March 5, 2007 to the Bled eConference Chair. The Panel & Workshop Selection Advisory Board will review the proposals. Notification of acceptance is March 30, 2007. Panel or workshop outline (2 pages) will be published in the Conference Proceedings, business volume.
We are looking forward to your response.
With best regards,
Jože Gričar, Professor & eCenter Director Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Maribor, SloveniaChair, Annual Bled eConference
